Q: “Where are the camps located?”
A: Rimac Arena. Click here for location and directions.
Q: “Do I need to provide lunch for my child?”
A: If you child is an overnight campers breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided but extra spending money may be needed for snack shop. If your child is a commuter then your child will be provided lunch and dinner."
Q: “What happens if my child gets hurt?
Do you have a trainer in the gym?”
A: There will be an athletic trainer on site that will handle any and all medical needs for the campers. Please be sure to be as detailed as possible when filling out your camper’s medical form so that we may be prepared to manage your camper’s needs.
Q: “Can Parents stay and watch camp?”
A: Yes, parents are welcome to stay and watch camp, as long as there is a clear understanding that you are only there to be a spectator.
Q: “Where should I park and do I need a permit?”
A: The most accessible parking will be at Lot P354 on Scholars Drive N. Permits are required on weekdays and can be purchased from the Visitor’s Center.
Q: “What should my child bring with them to camp?”
A: Your child should wear basketball shoes and athletic attire. If they are an overnight camper they should bring a sleeping bag and pillow. They should also have some extra spending money for the snack shop.
Q: “Are there hotels close to campus?”
A: All of the hotels listed below are within 1-2 miles of the campus. More hotels can be found in the surrounding areas of La Jolla, Carmel Valley, Del Mar, and Pacific Beach.
